A DownloadableSoundz Tutorial and Overview of Universally Compatible Sounds and Plug-ins from Sonic Reality
Here's an orientation of Sonic Reality sounds for musicians using popular DAWS such as ProTools, Cubase, Logic, GarageBand, Live, Sonar, Studio One, Tracktion, Digital Performer and others. (This tutorial does not cover our specific format sound libraries such as our Reason Refills or RMX Paks for Stylus... although many of the same navigation tips for www.downloadablesoundz.com or www.esoundz.com can be applied such as selecting the format on the left and tab catgories on the right).
Sonic Reality's Infinite Series Virtual Instruments and R.A.W. Series Loops!
1. The MAIN plug-in platform we use for high end Sonic Reality instruments, multitrack kits and grooves, sound effects and more is the INFINITE PLAYER powered by Kontakt. (Mac/PC, standalone, RTAS, VST and AU)
If you go here: http://www.downloadablesoundz.com/downl ... 8033H27897 that link is a filter of just sounds in Infinite Player format and the Player itself which is also sold a la carte. Even if you own Kontakt already, one gets the "Infinite Player" which acts then as an "unlock code" for all Infinite Player format sound content. When you go to the link above, on the right there are tabs that say "Sound Libs, Plug-ins, Loop Packs, Instruments"... it defaults to "ALL" which is everything we've got in that format but when you click on any of the tabs to the right it shows you just those categories of products within that format selection. So, for example, if you JUST wanted grooves for the Infinite Player you would click on Loop Packs (and Infinite Player as the format on the left side of the page). That would be this: http://www.downloadablesoundz.com/loops ... 8033H27897
NARROW DOWN YOUR SEARCH
If you wanted to search within that category/format you can type in our narrow down search field a key word like say "Multitrack" and it will show only the multitrack groove products within that format and category. Type in "Multitrack" after clicking on the previous link and you'll see. To get back simply click on the "clear narrow down search" or click on HOME and start over.
2. For Loops our main series is called R.A.W. which stands for Rex, Apple Loops & Wave. It is a little more Hip Hop and Electronic oriented than say Rock/Blues etc. but there is at least something for almost every style. One can completely check out RAW again by just going here: http://www.downloadablesoundz.com/sound ... /card5.php
Now, we have full RAW Style Paks which are loop collections that have 400-600 loops duplicated in all three formats (Rex, Apple Loops and Acidized Wave) - so you get 1,200-1,800 loops total between the 3 formats all for the same price. But we also have something we call "C-Kits" which stands for Construction Kits (ie. Song Construction Kits) and they are sold in the Loop Packs section almost like "singles" since they are all of the loops one would need to build a particular song (drum loop, bass lines, keys, leads etc.).
A popular section/tab is the: "Individual Loops" category which allows you to listen to and purchase one for what - what you hear is what you get (in all three formats - Rex, AL, Wave). It's loved by many because one can cherry pick specific loops and 1 loop is only 1 credit/dollar. It's technically more tedious and expensive to do get hundreds of loops this way at a time vs. just picking up the whole R.A.W. Style Pak of that genre but... it is a cool option that fits pretty much anyone's budget. The only thing is that a customer would simply have to purchase $25 of credits just to get started is all.
-------------
We have some special products like the Ocean Way Drums plug-in which uses the Kontakt engine like our Infinite Series does but OWD has its own Kontakt Player with a separate serial that is required (in other words, one would have to buy either Ocean Way Drums Expandable Player still even if they had Kontakt or Infinite Player already - as it acts as the "unlock code" for the OWD content. But the OWD Expandable Player is also just included in the main OWD products). All the info one would need about downloadable versions of OWD is here: http://www.downloadablesoundz.com/oceanwaydrums
This is a nice system. It covers a lot of styles and instrument types under one roof. We've only released a small portion of it so far. We're about to release over 200 gigabytes of new material in the next months. So we've been pretty aggressive on sound development in these two platforms.
