Not very good with downtempo jazz, would a 20-minute Berlin School suite do?

How are you liking Tunafish?

I never noticed it before now.
The short review, is that it is worth the price.

I wrote a review of Tunafish: http://www.kvraudio.com/get/1881.html

It will be on the 'KVR Member Reviews' tab of the page.

 Bored 30 year old women sipping cocktails around a pool with ME :-o Play what you want - I won't be listening :D

As to being a screaming young girl to please Simon Cowell. Well, I could make a stab at being a screaming psycopath I guess. The guy walks around with a permanent wedgie, he wears his trousers so high. :hihi:

Cheers,

I had a go at a track, uploaded now. Its my first go at a OSC track (only spotted the thread a couple of days ago actually) ... I think I will have to get mine in earlier next time, as all my cat-punning track names seem to have been taken already. So, apologies for lowering the tone with "PussyJoos"

He wrote me that he's sorry he's been absent from the forum, he's very busy but he will answer the thread as soon as he can; also told me Galileo seems to work fine on his quadracore, so he wouldn't know what the problem may be. However, please wait for him to answer directly :)

I have a suggestion for the one synth challenge: Hardwood Clave!!

Post

OK Mac, cheers for the info, and the recommendation :)

Well, as I say I dont want to pressurise Max, I'm sure we'll get a solution to the Galileo anomoly in good time ... so if Max has enough on his plate at the moment, I suggest we move on.

Heres the list I compiled from looking at previous comp threads.

What about Atlantis or the SQ8L... were they dismissed bacause of the fact that their version numbers have not reached 1 yet ?

Hi Yeager, I've not heard of Atlantis, but SQ8L was dismissed because the free version is a demo, and you cant save the presets in a project

Oh yes now I remember some people had problems with SQ8L not saving correctly...

BTW Atlants is nice with limeflavour's skin. ( Try it ! )

Wow, yeah Atlantis is a MONSTER!! ... Cheers for the heads up!
The random buttons are great for getting a feel of the sounds it is capable of ... otherwise it would be a lot to get the hang of ...of course there are preset banks as well.

My only reservation is that it is very cpu intensive! ... Some randomised settings, which sounded great, were hitting 35%!! I'm sure a lot of you guys have better PC specs, and might not get such results, but I for one would certainly be limited in how far I could push Atlantis within a track.

Post

OK, had a go at creating some sounds with as many features turned off as I could get away with, and it is certainly possible to cut the cpu. Still seems high though .... 8% for a half decent kick :-o

I found out that it's mostly the filters that use the CPU don't use ALL FOUR , but yeh it can use a lot !

But it sounds great 8) doesn't it ?
