Quite an unpolished piece, just can't find the time to do a proper mix but I wanted to share it anyway :D

Hope you enjoy!

Whoa, it's been a while Ronnie, but what a lovely come back track! I like the 3 parts and they blend nicely - the BOC-ish and smooth funky bookends with that beautiful centre. I absolutely love those intervals on the bass in the middle - 4ths is it? Whatever, one of my faves, I always seems to gravitate toward that.

Post

Really nice, core. I've listened to it several times already tonight. Thanks.

Thanks for sharing that, Ronnie. Quite a beautiful piece.
As poly said, the 3 parts work great together.
Lovely stuff!

Thanks polyslax! I was mainly trying to demo Loomers Aspect synth (the bass sound in the middle section is also Aspect) and before I knew it this one came out.

4ths? Whatever is left from the music theory I learned some 20 years ago doesn't include an answer to your question...

Last time I remember doing a specific technique was for rain, a track I did for the January 2007 music cafe contest, which had pedal point as a theme.

Like you I do music predominantly by ear so yeah, if you like it it's good no? :hihi:

lovely track Ronnie. I'm really digging the sounds and the slightly eerie feel. Nice one!

Hi Sarah, thanks for listening. I hadn't noticed the eerie feel before (I drown in the beat) but now that you mention it :hihi:

funny.

Even your unpolished ones sound polished
Whats with the hiss at the start? is that on purpose?
It also becomes twice as loud suddenly ...hense the word unpolished?

excelent choice of sounds. dreamy sphere.
love it a lot.

Can you tell us what you've used for that piercing lead traveling around in the stereospectrum?

Polished enough for me. Nice relaxed beats, and +1 for the eerie feel.

Thanks Tstar! The beat in the intro has FabFilter Volcano 2 on it, with the Garage Band preset which takes out the low and high and leaves this nice sound.
