I've screwed up so bad, and I will be purchasing at least another 140'ish dollars before I'm done.

However, I made all the money I've spent in other transactions, so it's not just arbitrary spending

I don't usually do this because my self-control is pretty good but... I need to stop buying delays. At least until Christmas.

Well, if I can find a good deal on a Space Echo or Stage Echo, I'll buy it.

...and I guess if something really cool comes out I'll get that too.

I am proud of myself for fighting off the urge to buy Synth Squad.

After I put another $2k into my modular, the desire just seemed to slip away.

I have a few hardware synths. I've sampled them, and used those samples as base to make new sounds. People, take my advice: try this yourself.

I have absolutely no desire to buy a new synth any more. I look at new ones and thing, why bother? I've managed to make a ton of great sounds with what I have - especially with judicious layering - and I've ended up with sounds that are more unique than Generic Trance Lead / Bass etc.

I'd like to replace my monitors with a pair by Adam, because - genuinely - one of my current Event TR5s is dying. I'd like to move up from my Terratec audio card to something of better quality. Echo or RME, preferably. Otherwise, I'm more than happy with my setup, after having downsized from a ton of hardware.

Do the same, and you'll feel happier. I never want a big studio, I just want ENOUGH. And I pretty much have that.

Well, I won't feel guilty if I buy something useful that I bought on a good set of reasons

I also just bought Uhbiks

No other audio stuff so far, I even cleared out my Ebay watch list.

I saw that two Mono/Poly sold for under 800 bucks and I could f*cking cry.
