OK, this FM sampler synth is really starting to sound good! .... so all participants will get a copy, and if I get my skates on, I'll maybe get that ' weird wobbly arp ' thing finished as well, and add that to the ever growing participants prize hoard! :)

Just to inform anyone new to the One Synth Challenge, by submitting a track, you will gain temporary access to a folder containing at least one Vst created by myself as a prize for the present comp ... plus all previous participants prizes I have created.
These are not available for free or for sale! A link will be sent to you via PM at the close of the comp, which will be active until the close of the next comp :)

Well, this is called a challenge, so it is supposed to be a challenge, so that's what it should be... Now, can you think of a bigger one?

:D :D

(However, believe it or not, I was only half joking when I suggested it...)

Of course that'd be strictly forbidden!! :uhuhuh:

Hey guys, sorry for being away so long, I'm really busy (no it's not because of Gladiator tattiemannie ;)). I'm downloading the submissions right now, I'll listen to them in one big step, great! :D

About Galileo: I've found the problem. It seems some people have very powerful computers which calculates too fast and sometimes they skip some bits of code causing crashes and weird things. After one month of research the technicians at MaxSynths corporation have found that the best solution to solve the problem is to downgrade your computer :hihi: Seriously: Galileo is a very basic synth which uses a few 3rd party modules which don't cause problems (are the same modules used on Cryologic, and no-one reported problems about it), the only problems reported seems related with FL8 and the last version of Cubase... I think the problem is in the hosts, it could be something related with VST3... The current version is working fine also in FL5 for me (on a dualcore computer), but have no chance to test it on cubase. The problem must be related with some particular setting configuration in some systems, and this should cause problems with other plugins too (Chimera for example! :hihi: Now this is what I call a challenge :D).

Thanks tattiemannie for the infos on the italian mandolin and the... ehm can't remember that name... :D Anyway, talking about trash, yesterday I've bought a CME UF5 for a few moneys, it was destined to the trash because... one key is not working :-o People are crazy. Today I'm going to fix it in some way, there must be some bug or dust a dead mouse or something under the key... too much work for the Logic guy which sold it

G'night,
Max

Good to hear from you Max! .. I'm up way too late, but I will sleep sound with the fantasy that OSCers will want to downgrade their computers! :hihi:

Like with that trash-bound toy you're working on, I rescued two old computers from the bin a couple of months back .... both working great! ... and every so often, I see TVs, DVD players, PCs etc being dumped ... and I want to take them all home! ... alas, my house is not so big, but ....

Anyone for a challenge??? I suggest we get a synth sorted for the next challenge, and then ..... we announce the Galileo challenge! ... between now and then , anyone interested has the added challenge of finding an old PC with which to run Galileo :hihi:

A real OSCer do not need a 16 core machine :uhuhuh:
:hihi:

Not a challenge really, every trashcan has a Galileo enabled machine :hihi:

Wow, I'll look forward to having access to that download folder. Thanks, Tattiemannie!

It's going to rock my world!

There are a couple of 'good machines' here for running Galileo.

Whatever you all decide for next month's synth is fine by me.

Very hard to vote this month :-?
Congratulations guys, nice work, really!
