IIRC an update made this work fine in two hosts I use occasionally, but not in the one I use most.Fair enough, but my mousewheel works fine with other VSTi products.BERFAB wrote:Mousewheel support was added a while ago, both for Sonik Synth 2 and Sampletank 2.5. I believe the other "powered by" instruments have it as well.
I also think it works in standalone too, so I'm not sure why some hosts would impose a limitation.

I wroke to IKM a couple of months ago about this problem (I.E. mousewheel not working in Sampletank's browser in Ableton Live-which is quite painful actually)
They first told me that it was working fine for them in other hosts, such as Nuendo etc.
Then,I told them that I had a lot of other VSTi where the mousewheel support just worked like a charm in Live.
Finally, all I got as answer was that they would check it and add it to the add list for future updates...
I really hope they'll keep there word...

Round Robin, Multi Velocity samples on all real instrument sounds, unless Synth. I have Sampletank but just one velocity layers don't cut it...
Oh yes a really good Latin Percussion set in there...

I generally can't stand round robin because it is so often poorly done.
The different samples sound so different that it ends up sounding like a very poor player who lacks control of the instrument.
I have actually found myself staying away from newer libraries because in their attempts to be more realistic they are starting to sound terrible.
