Density is truly unique. Thank you very much for this amazing plugin.

Post

unfortunately density mkII always crash on my fl studio 8 and 7 :(

have i to install additional drivers for make it works?
maybe a bug with FL?
maybe is it only 64bit compatible?
myabe i'm just unlucky? :)

Post

Nope, working in FL7 / 8 / 8.5 beta, no issues what so ever, under 32bit.

Post

can't use it within cubase sl1 because it shows up as a plugin with 4 inputs. Same with wavelab 3.0.

Doesnt work in Renoise, anyone else had this problem? Can it be a SSE problem, its a old machine we tried it on?

Great sound as usual, Bootsie. Patrick, maybe your most beautiful work ever. I haven't been on much lately but i had to say that. Top notch stuff.
One small problem: occasionally some Bootsie plugs cause my pointer to disappear in Live. I have to Live in order to get it back. Has anyone else seen this?

Working (very) well here

Man, I am loving how this sounds on drums. Makes it so easy to glue them together. Said it before but I'll say it again, great work!

Thank you so much Bootsie for the great plugin!
External side-chaining works well in FL Studio beta 8.5.

and thank you for all your other plugs, they are very good too!

I tried this quickly in FL8.5 beta, and while it didn't crash while it was loaded, it probably trashed the memory 'cos the host crashed some 10 minutes later for no good reason (I just had Edison playing some music), and operating system 32-bits.

Works fine in renoise 2.1 here

Haven't had this yet but the first Density version did/ does this a lot in renoise.

edit: oh and thanks a lot bootsie, now my favourite free compressor 8)

i think this is our problem, maybe density mkII does not handle well old computers so it's not a problem with the sequencer/host, it's a problem with the CPU

Thank You Bootsie, great plugin!!!

It's meanwhile confirmed that there is an issue with SSE1 cpu types and a fix is already in the making.
The same applies to some 'denormal' cpu spikes or anomalies in some configurations.
The Wavelab channel issue has been reproduced by several testers but there is currently no solution for that. Some crashes needs to be investigated further as well.

Sometimes, it poof-crashes FL Studio 8. Sometimes it does not! :D
