Well from what I gather,Squid time is kinda different,like dog years or something.A day or so in Squid time is about a month or two,a month or so means sometime next year...so a loooooong time...scary.dachilles wrote:Sorta like the release of Studiophonik huh?

Well... never say never. I only said that it isn't likely because there's more red tape when you have other companies involved that have to approve etc. But, it could happen. I've certainly passed on to the powers that be that you guys have requested it a bunch of times on KVR. After the mad success of TR Singles Group Buy you never know what can happen. But it was a good thing it took off like that. This was all because of you guys so... maybe you'll get your wish.
As for doggy years, Squids years and Studiophonik... I can't say anything. I have no defense. You're right! I am putting the finishing touches on it today and tomorrow and then we're sending it off (again) to IK for final approval. That's how close it is at this point but... I've been saying "coming soon" for years so don't worry... I don't expect you to hold your breath or anything. How about I just let you know when it is available? Yeah. Let's do that.

This is a thread about an AT Fender Group Buy possibility, and the closest thing we'll see to that has just materialized, so as far as the topic at hand we're not holding our breath. Just to get us back on topic.
Oh, and I'd still take Squids' advice about getting the StealthPedal while you can. I think it is the best deal in the promotion because it comes with Metal for now.

Have you tried one? Or are you simply hanging in here to be negative because you are miffed over the StudioPhonik delay?
The StealthPedal didn't come out very long ago, and it is far from dated. I'm not the only one who likes it. http://www.ikmultimedia.com/stealthpedal/reviews/ has some pretty nice reviews and awards from within the last couple of months. Also, I believe KVR member Agreed who works with FrugalGuitarist gave it a pretty good review too. So there's some "regular folks" along with some industry reviews being positive about it.
I'll assume that, since all you replied with was some ill-founded snark and didn't answer, that you do consider what Squids posted as humble enough and we'll know when SP is coming out when it comes out with no further projections from him.

If anyone wants to be critical of our delay on SPK I really can't blame them. It's a little complex how that happened and I've talked about it a lot on here. So, there isn't much more to say except for it IS coming (should be this month actually but... wait and see np). This wouldn't be the right thread to discuss it though.
So, back on topic... Stealth Pedal is FANTASTIC!!!! I love this solid piece of hardware and it really is a killer deal in this Group Buy promo. You get an immediate 3 for 1 with it so that kind of makes the hardware FREE... no matter how you slice it I think this product is really REALLY good. Also, yes, it DID just come out recently as well. Nothing dated about it... except it sure looks nice next to your vintage Vox or Cry Baby.
