* Autoupdate
* You can now rearrange tracks by drag & drop
* Drag & drop replace samples in Drum editor
* Drag & drop rearrange samples in Drum editor
* Added new action for 'loop selection' (ctrl+P), without changing playback
* Mouse resize hotspot now relative to part size, making it easier to move parts when zoomed out
i guess this will be a option where if your on-line XT will go on-line & let you know that there is a newer update out,

wonder if it will work for the betas?

i wonder if that is even what "Autoupdate"" will be?

nice to see something new in the coming next section :)

i no doubt will go back to checking it daily again :hihi:

It will probably generate updates automatically, on a regular basis, with all bugfixes/new features necessary. This will finally lift the unbearable burden of development off Jorgen's shoulders.

I don't think they spend enough time working on website updates and should take more time off development to take a perfectly acceptable site and change it into a different perfectly acceptable site of similar quality. :o

Hah, I laughed. It's not nice, but it was too well written not to. "Unbearable burden" indeed.

Reaper does this. It's pretty cool 'cause you don't always have to check the website for updates. Don't know if this will be for releases only or betas too...

Yea, but Reaper developers are working to make their software better. XT developers are working to make their software LOOK better. It's important quality and quantity difference.

well if you think xt works on making the program look better i still think
it looks like a dos program compared to the sleek daws of the competition but to me thats exactly one of the things i like about it, the gui doesnt distract
i spend some time checking out reaper and it took to long to even get rewire going (and i am no novice), come on Jorgen you can make the program as sound as its concept is, just stay of the beer and women for a while :')

I thought "look" as trying to make program something that it isn't, but, yea, your point is right, and I like that aspect too.

Reaper definately just doesn't fit you if you had issues setting up Rewire
It's soooooo simple to do that

Yep, the gui doesn't distract me at working properly, enough to keep me away of using it. Did i mention this scrollbars insanity issue yet?(okey, okey, that's a bad and bittered joke)

Whatever, i can't agree more with the graphical design of this software, that's really dope work, but the gui design, in his functionalities, sometime feel like some piss-take.

Hey,

I like the UI's graphics. It's nice and cool. 'Nuff said.

Start making some good music instead - you've all got the tools you need.

Logical thinking would dictate really that if he is doing an autoupdater then updates should be more frequent
I mean why else do an autoupdater ? it isnt like the infrequent updates now are a hassle

Hopefully this is quite a big step forward who knows ?

I'd say the basic design and workflow that XT2 has is genius really. A step up from XT1 for sure, much more consolidated. Its just the features that it continually lacks, and the bugs that continually exist, is what keeps me using XT2. Does the new XT sampler have a slicing function btw?

Autoupdate means...

...never having to look at kvr again. :)
