starts @ 0:46 seconds.

What's the key of this music,I think could be E minor,C major or A minor???
Really don't know.

I think the chords play those notes @ 0:46 plays.
A2-B3 / B2-D4 / C3-E4 / C3-D4 / E3-G4 / G3-B4 / C3-E4 / D3-C4

Really lost here because it plays notes close to eachother on diferent octaves.
Is there a theory behind this?

Also later on the songs has a pad that plays D3-E3-G3.

Thanks.

What is a "3" chord? For that matter, what's a "4" or "2" chord? Is that like add 9 or add 11?

Is dance music evolving its own brand of chord notation or something?

I believe he's talking about notes and octaves.

OK, after giving this a quick listen, it's definitely in E minor. I don't really hear chords so much as I hear 2 or 3 overlapping synth melodic lines being played together at the same time. Don't know the exact notes yet; it would take me a little while longer to hear it all correctly because I am guessing that one of the synth patches is one of those that plays more than one note when you press one key on the keyboard.

Oh, I get it... So this seems to be a very basic minor key line. (A C and D, G, etc.) The split tuning of the oscillators makes it sound perhaps more complex than it is. Not really remarkable or unusual in its vocabulary though.
