Atomic and Cantabile

I'm a Cantabile Solo owner and am demoing Atomic by Algo Music. I feel I have Atomic effectively sending channel 1 midi out, but puzzled how to set a synth below it in my rack to receive the channel 1 midi.
I had a look at the Cantabile manual, felt the midi filters might do the trick, but could not accomplish my synth receiving channel 1 midi. Any help getting this to work would be great.
Thanks in advance, James

I'm not familiar with Cantabile, but have you activated the green "midi out" arrow on Atomic's gui?
In Reaper all you have to do is load atomic at the top of the "rack", activate the midi out arrow and drop the volume to zero. Then add a synth in the slot below and play.

The midi-out does not work in the Atomic demo, but the full version works fine in Cantabile. You can send midi-out from rack1 to rack2, or click the midi icon, as noted by Limeflavor, to connect plugins in one rack. You can control hardware or software, and when you get into making sequences, good things will happen!sunhome wrote:I'm a Cantabile Solo owner and am demoing Atomic by Algo Music. glokraw and Limeflavour a hat tip to both of you! Glad I mentioned I was Demoing it as it might have taken a bit longer to solve the problem. It seems like a great product and I am trying to trade my wusik group buy for it in the marketplace. In fact a lot of Algo products seem great ... Anyway thanks for the help. Problem solved.

Why don't you use a second rack for the second synth?
With this you don't have to care about the first plugin's midi output and you can better benefit from Cantabiles multithreading capabilities - i.e. processing plugins in parallel...
