In my opinion you'd do better to post to a site like soundclick that doesn't require a download. I didn't download. Sorry.

Beggars can't be choosers. If you want people to take the time to listen to your track, then do your best to make it easy for them.

When I listen to someone else's track, I prefer to download the track rather than being directed to some random music showcase site having to search for the track. In my oppinion it's easier to download the track directly without any hassle.

I agree with ronnie. Personally, I hate Soundclick as well as Acid Planet.

Agreed. I don't listen to Soundclick or whatever music site that doesn't allow direct download.

I like to keep it in my HD or MP3 player. I don't mind to have a low quality (112 or 128kbps) file, if the author don't feel confortable to give away the track.

Well i'd prefer to stream it with the option of downloading bet hey ho.

The track as always sounds pro. Yes i've used that word. But it sounds like a professional release and is excellently crafted.

I'm not entirely convinced by the mashed up chords that fade in around 14-15 seconds as they seem to sit on top of rather than in the mix. It's not omg bad just odd to my ears. I'd want to sidechain a reverb send on that track with the initial beat that the chords fall on so it would start off dry but end wet. Fnar fnar.

Superb....as always.

You are appalingly consistent. :hihi:

Very living track. Sometimes IMHO a bit too much breaks, but on the other side for house or on the dancefloor it can work because their is a bit real room reverb which glue the breaks a bit.

Nice to have also a direct download. This is more professional then this Soundclick, file-sharing sites etc. links. Most browsers open this files directly with a player or give other options. Hope more people follow this.

Sorry, OT, but rubbish comment. Soundclick gives you a url option for a direct link to the song - 1 click and you're there. Sorry OP, but silly comments like this really get on my nerves.

I'll break a habit and download later and give some honest feedback as well. :)

Post

Seriously, most people moan when there's no download link...

If there is a download link, then you can provide this directly and all is fine ;) If this doesn't work you must buy webspace or find a better way where you can host your songs or you project. All other things like this filesharing sites with download counters, Soundclick, Soundcloud etc. are not the best solutions if you are seriously interested to get feedback.

did I say that? read my post again!

Hehe good to see a healthy discussion going, I'm sticking with my direct links :P

And thanks for the feedback to those who commented on the track! :D
I have sent it to most of the major house labels and I've gotten replies from two already... www.myspace.com/satanscircusmusic is one and the other is http://www.myspace.com/kernelrecordings and I might aswell ask you guys if you think the track is good enough to entitle me to wait and see if I get any positive replies from a bigger label or if I should choose one of the aformentioned? And if the latter, which label do you think would be better for me? thanks :D
