Bootsie, I just wanted to let you know it's working fine in my Reaper 32-bit setup on my 64-bit Vista computer. Intel Q9550 (last generation higher end quad).

And by "working fine" I mean "I am using this in every project, holy crap what a plugin!"

Good luck sorting the issues others are experiencing, bug hunting must be a real pain especially since you're doing all this for free on your own time. Thanks for the dedication 8)

It doesn't work on my old Athlon XP +2000 but I heard there was a fix coming. Any news about it? I can test it if you want.

i'm in the same situation of u, but i think bootsie doesn't need any more pressure, he is doing a great work, he is doing it for free, we must give him all the time necessary and say THANKS he is trying to fix it

Chill man, I'm not here to put pressure on Bootsie and we don't need you to tell us when we should be thankful. I only offered to beta-test, I've done it again.

From what I remember when I tried The Rocket it had totally different character than Density. I remember it was begging me to crush the drum bus while Density is so much smoother. Who knows, maybe I didn't demo The Rocket as much as I should...

I was using Bootsies regularly before switching to Mac. Please Mac version, we'r waiting!

Dear Bootsie,

I believe that I have discovered an issue with Density mkII in Cubase 5 (5.1.0). When loading Density mkII on a channel as an insert effect, all goes well. It loads fine and works fine. The issue comes when unloading the effect. It unloads OK, but then after a few seconds C5 closes in a flash. No warning, no dialog boxes. C5 just disappears in a flash. I can then reload C5, and the project, immediately and all seems OK. The operating system does not freeze and there is no need for a reboot. This event does not leave a crash report in Cubase5.LOG. Operating system is Win/XP/Pro/SP3.

:-) I guess the lesson is "never unload Density mkII"! :-)

More seriously, if you could have a look at this it would be great. Please let me know if you would like any further info or for me to try any experiments.

In any case, thanks for your super plug-ins!

mmm especially with the punch preset, tweaked to taste. Just route all your drums to a group channel, put this in insert 1 and it just soars out of the mix. Adjust individual channels to suit obviously. Love it.

I think I have similar (random, but frequent) problem with Reaper 2.x/3.x, Density mkII and Tessla Pro

- Reaper disappears without warning on project loading/on playback
- Reaper crashes
- Reaper GUI get corrupted (the transport bar locator numbers turn to some insane values) I don't know how is this even possible?

Density mkII or Tessla Pro can also cause a cumulative crash. If I have opened a project with these plugins, and then loading a new project that does not have them, Reaper may still disappear to thin air.

All my projects that are suffering these problems are including Density mkII or Tessla Pro. Once I removed these plugins, I haven't been able to reproduce it so far.

I want to apologize million times, Bootsie. You are doing a great work and great plugins that are top of the line. However, I do feel it's better to let you know if there appear to be problems, even if not everyone experiencing the same. For betterment of all.
If I didn't like you plugins so much, I couldn't be bothered :)
Thanks
