How can I reverse a midi CC value ?

I wonder how to solve this issue in Cantabile Performer: my midi pedal board has a controller button which sends 0 when released and 127 when pressed (latch mode). I just wanted to set this control in order to activate/deactivate the suspend of a plugin. It's quite easy to assign the controller so that when released the suspend is not activated, and when pressed the suspend is ON (controller assigned to Suspend On/Off in latch mode using the MIDI Controller Assignements) but I need to reverse this action so that when the controller is released the suspend is ON and only when pressed the suspend goes OFF and the plugin starts working.
I've tried to play with the midi filters but I didn't succeed. I thought that with the reassign controller to the same number from 0 - 127 to a new range 127 - 0 could do the job...
Is there a way to do this?
