I wouldn't believe a word in any of those interviews. Maybe the production is all ITB. But then it's mixed and mastered someplace else etc. Or it's BS alltogether. You see, that's part of the artist's marketing, to make every kid out there believe they can get the same sound with just their laptop, too.themossinator wrote: Still almost how everyone in the industry works???????
got any proof of this at all??????
Deadmau5 maybe, but your wrong on Prydz, its been said in interviews and from comments from people who work with him that he doesnt use hardware.
That stuff really annoys me. Dont make out to people that if they want to make tracks like Deadmau5 and Prydz that need to use hardware!!! Im sorry if thats what youve been led to believe but i think you may have fallen for the marketing/hype
Just because you cant get that sound with software doesnt mean other people cant.....
Sweden is littered with studios full of high quality gear, and these guys have the money for it. The mixes really bear most of the hallmarks of quality outboard and even console mixing.
I actually believe that Cosma's "Simplicity" was made totally ITB from the sound. And that's great music. Far more inventive than any of those current "progressive" electronic musicians, which mostly rely on the sound.
