Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone can confirm this.
Going through the bonus sample pack of the last group buy I noticed in the DELUXEBASSLINES and Deluxe Guitar Riffs there's no key mentioned in the files.
I only had time to check out about half of them and was wondering if I'm correct that all these samples are in the key of E? I find it pretty annoying when samples don't mention the original key they are recorded in though.
For the Deluxe Drum Grooves I discovered some bugs in the wave pack, I haven't downloaded the rex and AppleLoops, only the wave pack's.
In some samples there is digital jitter or oversampling going on that makes these samples unusable. To be sure of what I'm saying here I downloaded the wave pack twice and double checked.
Here's a list of samples that are bugged:
Classick Rock:
126 clsrock 09
130 clsrock 10
Progressive Rock:
130 3sidelamb _3_1
130 Gen3 3_1
130 Gen3 _5
132 Bacaba3
Punk:
130 punk 6_2
130 punk 8_1
130 punk 8_2
130 punk 9_2
Can anyone confirm this please? I don't mean to complain about it though after all they are a free bonus but it doesn't convince me to buy more of these sample packs.
Thanks

Okay, we're looking into it. All of the bass and guitar licks are not in the key of E. These were put together custom for promos and they contain mostly previously unreleased material. If there are bugs in any of the sounds (out of the thousand plus that are there) we'll see about fixing them and posting them. The key would be good to add into the names and also into the Apple Loop tagging. We'll do this as a free update at some point. For now though it is a boat load of riffs and bass lines to play with and enjoy regardless. Great value for a mountain of work there... studio sessions, Rex slicing and our proprietary technique for the only accurate Rex, Apple Loops and Acidized Wave where the slices all line up. That means one can go from one format to another and if the tempo is changed the feel will be as close as possible to the same as the other formats. (There is no commercial app that we've seen accurately convert between all three formats Rex, Apple Loops and Acidized Wave).
