Was 4shared.com hacked, or is it just my account? It switches to an url with 'hacked' in it.
edit: It looks like it was indeed, hacked:

tattiemannie wrote: On topic, just a little though, I think I know what I'm gonna do for the xmas comp .... just been playing around with Piz's 'robot juice' and a couple of my fx plugs .... I think the comp is gonna be either that, or maybe even wider, 'use any free Piz synth and any free tattie fx and nothing else!'

Santa has put you on the naughty list
OK, its getting a bit late to make any more progress tonight, I hope to launch the comp tomorrow .. but! ... any more on these Sputnik issues?? Dont want to rule anyone out of the comp, so I would be glad to hear if the guys who are having probs have found a viable workaround, or have found a solution
Otherwise, and especially if more of you are having probs, we may have to delay the launch and find another synth .... and that would be a bit of a pain really!
I'm fairly free for the best part of tomorrow, so any feedback/comments would be super.
( hopefully I wont get too caught up in the latest SE creation .... I've worked out how to assign individual keys to individual samples ... and finding it rather exciting

I am still having minor strife with sputnik but if I leave my session alive all day it is OK and I can reconstruct my patches from written notes.
So, not a deal breaker.

Perhaps the OSC group should re-dedicate itself as post release bug findersAh_Dziz wrote:I can't reload any sessions with more than a couple of sputniks in them so i'm out. I can't wait to hear what everyone comes up with though.
I'm having a more solid play latter today and will let you all know if I hit any wobblies.
Cheers,

OK, so we have a couple of problems.
I also have a prob in FL8 in that the sound gives a brief stutter every now and then ... thats with 5 instances ( 2 actually playing ), and the CPU no higher than 12%.
HOWEVER! ... I think we should press on .... it is a challenge after all, and I'm fairly sure that whether we have to use an unfamiliar host, or find other workarounds, it is possible to do a quality track.
Lets not forget that an important part of the challenge is evaluating the featured synth.... knowing its limitations as well as its strengths, and hopefully demonstrating that these limits can, in at least some circumstances, be overcome.
Also, the comp thread is where questions can be asked and info shared about the featured synth as we as we work on producing our sounds. So, I dont anyone is 'excluded' from the comp, its just that some might might require more info, and possibly have to suss out a new freeware host at the same time as they suss out the synth!
I'll have the launch done by tonight ... and Sputnik it will be!

As advertised, have had a proper play and, apart from Max, am running without problems. Projects saving in and out fine. And what a bloody nice little synth as well.
It's a perfect OSC candidate - a little odder than the norm - but perfectly usable.
Best of luck all,

Before you get started though, dont forget to submit those .wavs for the Felix album, and any presets you can add to the felix preset collection.
PM for links if you cant be arsed to trudge through previous threads

Just a quick note to say how much I'm enjoying my new Waldorf Edition. That PPG Wave thing rocks: I had no idea how much my collection was missing it!
