Here's a post from KVR user drumrgal explaining how to get the VH-11 hi-hat working/mapped with Ocean Way Drums:

I did get my VH-11 to work!! YEAH!!

First of all, the V-Drum map for the TD20 works beautifully for the TD12 on everything but the VH-11 so all one has to do is use that map first for all other kit pieces.

Here are all the midi settings for the VH-11 (in my td12 module).
1st, press 'instrument' on module. Then, 'control' (F4), then 'midi' (F3) (may be similar on other Roland modules)
Make sure your settings for the hi-hat under MIDI are:
CLOSED BOW, OPEN BOW & PEDAL: 26 (D 1)
CLOSED EDGE, OPEN EDGE: (22 (A#O)

Then, press HH MIDI (F4) & these are the settings:
OPEN (BOW): 26 (D 1)
CLOSED (BOW): 42 (F#2)
OPEN (EDGE): 22 (A#O)
CLOSED (EDGE): 42 (F#2)*
PEDAL: 44 (G#2)

Now I'm happy

Thanks to drumrgal, I thought it would do well to file it here in the SR forum.

I know Kim from V-drums.com. She's great - this is very useful information. As an FYI, if you have a TD-6 or 6V and use a VH-11 (no positional sensing), you can just use the OWD GM hats instead of the V-drum hats with excellent results.

Thanks for sharing this.

Hi buscemi & Steve too.

I wanted to let you know that since I posted those VH11 settings, I actually have made a change under the HH MIDI (F4) on my TD12 Module as I found that the OPEN EDGE sound didn't seem quite right.
Thought I'd better post this change:

Press HH MIDI (F4) & these are the settings:

OPEN (BOW): 26 (D 1)
CLOSED (BOW): 42 (F#2)
OPEN (EDGE): 26 (D 1)*
CLOSED (EDGE): 42 (F#2)*
PEDAL: 44 (G#2)

Hello.

I thought I'd better mention that I've made a few changes to the VH11 setup since my last post here. (updated Oct 15 2009)

You can find it under:
