As I listen:

the intro is abruptly cut off and replaced with monophonic timbres.

Thanks to the string combo it was leading up to it starts making more sense

Some of your sounds have clicks opening them

What is your chord progession?

I think you're referring to the sounds around 1:02...
they are reversed sounds, so the clicks would be the rhodes attack; I tried to remove them, but then I changed my mind and keep them...actually I don't dislike

not sure about that, but it would be something like
A-/5 aug F#9/A# A-/5 aug F#9

Pleasant chilled jazzy vibe, lovely chords, nice freestyle melodies. I can't hear the bass at all though my ipod headphones though...

The track has a nice laidback feel, but you pretty much ruined it by overplaying. There's no room to breathe. And despite it being laidback, that doesn't mean that all of the playing has to be. The delayed rhodes or electric piano needs to be restrained, added just at the right time for that extra burst of flavour. I would do another take on this one. The ingredients are there, they are not just arranged and placed in the right manner for this track to be entirely satisfying and pleasurable.

I suspect that is why i find the register width restrained, as your going from A minor to F# using B flat back to A minor back to F which is surely daring but lacks familiarity to ease my lazy mind

I'm only comenting here to force myself to think musically as well, not to be overly critical or anything too serious .

Good to be daring, otherwise you would come up with monophonic mideival chants for monks if you were to be severly restrained to theory.

But music should have a connection to the intended audience, just as a book about a detective story does not turn into a fairytale half way through without purpose. The script may be of perfect english, but the flow is absurd to the intelligence. In music harmonic rhythm and linear expectancies are a relatively new development in terms of biological neuro cognitive and conceptual consciousness' in modern man, but do have a serious influence on ones' conceptualisation of the musical line.

I'm not getting why people are saying this is over or underplayed, personally. I listen to a lot of electronic-jazz hybrids that emphasize the jazz end of things, and I think this holds up quite nicely. Nice mood, good use of ambient electronics, not a derivative nu-jazz sort of thing. Overall, a good track from my perspective.

Not overplayed at all. Free jazz, for example, tends to be "overplayed" much more, and I still enjoy it. It really depends on what kind of music you're used to. If you like, say, "New Complexity" avant-garde classical music -- this looks like child's play in comparison. I like it.
