I can't understand how to use the various IMAP out possibilities in EZPlayerPro. I supposed that I should use SonicReality->IMAP(Standard) with DrumMaster and SonicReality->IMAP(Extended) with OWD. There is also a NI->Kontakt(IMAP) but it is not clear when I should use it.
Nevertheless, I would expect that when I select a given groove in EZPlayerPro I should hear almost the same thing whether I have the GM output and DrumMaster in GM mode, or whether I have the IMAP(Standard) output and DrumMaster in IMAP mode. But it is not the case at all, the IMAP mapping seems messed up, usually I loose the kick, and every hit seems to be on the wrong instrument.
I must be missing something obvious, but what ???
By the way when I import the 1000 GrooveMonkee midi files in EZPlayerPro, I specified they were in GM format: is it correct ?

IIRK Toontrack messed up the IMAP version so if you try to transpose -12 or 12 you will hear the drums as they should sound. Let's hope Squids can press the right buttons to get Toontrack to correct it.

Indeed I hope Squids will push to get it fixed, after all IMAP seems to be his baby

Also, is there any way to get additional "mount points" (folders in the Browser) listed in ascending alphanumeric order? I've tried a few things but they always end up in reverse order.

What do you expect from a company that has no contact support anymore or some rapport with there customers. No x64 support for there products.
Cheers

Let's keep the Toontrack support criticisms in the general area not in SR's forum, please. We shouldn't put SR in the position of allowing companies they work with (see the free EZPlayer offers as a tie between companies that commands respect of this nature). Let's not cross this line - we're stepped right up to the edge at the moment, thank you.

I've search your name in the Toontrack user database and I find no products registered to your account. I would expect that EZplayer pro would be authorized.733guy wrote:Well everytime i post on Toontracks forums about the problem they delete it. What's up with that?
You initial post was moved (not deleted) to the EZplayer support forum and answered by one of our technical advisors.

Thanks Buscemi. Yeah, let's keep it cool on that stuff as per our company forum rules.buscemi wrote:Let's keep the Toontrack support criticisms in the general area not in SR's forum, please. Of course one has to be a registered user of EZ Player Pro for their support team to help you. If you are then just verify with them and you'll be good to go.
Regarding Toontrack's support of iMap, I will look into this and see what's up. We're committed to bundling EZ Player Pro with our Drum Masters main products (at the end of the month it will no longer be bundled with Ocean Way Drums btw) and of course iMap IS my baby so I will make sure that not only it supports iMap as best it can but that we have a range of iMap grooves, besides the thousands from Groove Monkee that we sell now, that are designed specifically for iMap taking advantage of all of the extra articulations etc.

We don't develop EZ Player Pro. We just get it from Toontrack. I don't have any news from them on anything at the moment but you could always ask them in their forum directly.

If you register your product with the same email address as you use on the forum you should be able to gain access to the relevent support section on the toontrack forum.

I know that the new release for Superior Drummer from Toontrack has midi layouts for Squid's iMAP. The drum artics are pre-laid out for this format which makes it very easy to audition drum sets in existing iMAP drum MIDI tracks.
Don't know about EZ though. You can get SUPERIOR for $149 from the majors this month and then use one of the majors holiday coupons in that Toontracks qualifies for most of the coupons. Can't beat this deal right to upgrade from EZ.
