it's way more simple than this whole "is it worth its money discussion".
ask yourself two simple questions:
Do I like WAVES, even if, would I use it on every track? simply the answer is "no"
Do I like FLUX, even if, would I use it on every track? simply the answer is "absolutely yes"
so, let us compare prices...
Big shout out to that Epure EQ, still the BEST digital EQ out there.
I'm in love with that beauty, I'd even drop my girlfriend for it...
Greetings Rodge

Bullshit.Big shout out to that Epure EQ, still the BEST digital EQ out there.
Epure is good, but not the BEST sounding EQ.
in other hand, flux compressor are high quality compression plugins, and price are right.
+1 for a deesser, and why not a dynamicEQ by flux...

One of the things people love most about Epure II except for the clean sound, is that there's an 8ch i/o router that contains the possibility to process M/S (4 M/S processors built into that router).. That's not very common, yet still desired but quite a few engineers.rouxxx wrote:Bullshit.Big shout out to that Epure EQ, still the BEST digital EQ out there.

Nah, but if you look at the Pure series, it's about the same pricing, and compared to a lot of competitors out there, it's not too bad priced for what you get.....
Cheers,

BTW I sent Flux support an email two days ago, but havent recieved an answer.

Support is right now under hard pressure, and priorities are made, so you will be contacted sooner or later.fridtjof wrote:Felix (Flux) wrote:We'll have that in mind for our next plug-in...fridtjof wrote:I was actually surprised when I saw the PSP-style pricing of this thing. Compared to the (e.g.) IK Multimedia support, the Flux support is really quick and solid.
I'm totally satisfied with it.
Of course, when a company releases a new product,
more people are asking questions... So, that's why you sometimes have to wait a little longer.
This happens in every company.
Greetings,
Rodge

It might be time for me to pick up Pure Compressor. I was trying it again last night, and was reminded how it's the best software compressor ever...maybe I'll sell some of my other crap...

I've enjoyed the fruits of Pure Compressor a long time already. Damn you are missing out!
Syrah is killer as well! Very easy to setup and it can sound both "chunky" and smooth (chunky being the Log mode).
Cheers!

I know! What am I, crazy? Mind you, no one told me they were $30 cheaper at Don'tCrack...!bmanic wrote:I've enjoyed the fruits of Pure Compressor a long time already. Damn you are missing out!
Yeah? I'm not sure about Syrah. So far, I found it underwhelming compared to Pure II...maybe I just haven't found the right situation for it yet. On the same test project, I could get what I wanted more quickly with Pure II.bmanic wrote:Syrah is killer as well! No, its a compressor and as I understand its basicly a flux comp. optimized as full hysteresis setting.sureno wrote:in laymans terms please what exactly does this do? is it a transient designer?
Try it yourself, the only easyer to use compressor I know of is density mk2 but they're very different.

Hey, question to anyone who knows:
When you buy a FLUX product, does that purchase include all Mac & PC platforms? On the Don't Crack cart page, I can only select "Platform Mac - VST"...
