lol no. Only one I need is Brazil. The rest of his plucks (Not Exactly and Faxing Berlin) took me about 2 mins to figure out.

This was just supposed to be a resource page for those who want to sound like the ma5, even those the idea is somewhat tired and worn out. Still, at least humor cam out of this.

Actually, the Synth Squad has played a major role in all most all of Joel's tracks. I believe he was the first user that's not part of the dev team to have it since the early alpha phase. He's been using it for years.

It is indeed. If you check the latest FM mag you will see that Joel says the main driving synth sound in 'Faxing Berlin' and 'I Remember' is Strobe with a little bit of reverb. He also uses Cypher in productions.

this is a straight up lie from joel and people from fxpansion on here.look i was friends with joel through myspace before anyone knew or cared who he was,he did not use dcam in an way shape or form on faxing berlin,you would all be surprised on how old that song actually is.this is all marketing to sell you guys their product which really is good enough to not need this sort of campaign.

Oh it very well could be. Personally, I never said that Faxing Berlin was Synth Squad, but his later stuff definitely is.

You can clearly hear that just about everything in his most successful track "Community Funk" is pretty much ALL Strobe. That track was on Beatport's top 100 forever... maybe it still is, I don't know I don't feel like looking right now.

Actually that presets would take about 5 mins to create and also the presets is already created for you if you have a B-Station...it's called "Stairway Bass" al you have to do is tweak the filter and amp env release and your done

Another synth I know he uses is z3ta because he used a preset called "The Other Same Arp" in "Slip".

I might demo Largo, but I really really really hate the GUI. IMO the Korg stuff is all someone really needs.

I sold Largo last month and i already had half a soundset created and i tell you that the filters on Waldorf synths are great.
The only other synth i'll invest in now is impOscar 2 when it's released as i'll have enough synths to program for the next 3 yrs
