Hi. I've known this forum for a while, but just got around registering. Just wanted to share with you a video of my new VSTi (actually you don't get to see the VSTi, since the GUI is not ready yet, but you can listen it in action). It's a virtual version of a south american instrument called charango. Hope you like it, and I'd appreciatte any comments.
(BTW, the samples used are temps, recorded using a piezo pickup, please keep that in mind).
Enjoy!

Hi. Thank you all for your comments.
@D.Wako: About articulation switching, I'm using the sustain pedal for that one - seemed a better idea than keyswitching, since it leaves both hands free for chording ans strumming/arpeggio tasks.
@paveloso: We have been working on this VSTi for about 9 months now, and it is about 80% complete. We're still working on the GUI and the final sample set, as well as fixing some minor bugs and adding a few enhancements. We hope to have it ready for release in a month or so. Estimated price is around us$150.00, with a special introductory offer also available.
Thanks again for your comments, and if you have any other questions we'll be more than please to answer them. As soon as this VSTi is available, we'll surely let you know!

Now this isn't an instrument you here everyday. Definitely has a different sound to it that's for sure. Is this instrument played like a guitar or mandolin? Or is it played upright like a Cello? Or maybe it's played under the chin like a Violin? Anyhow it's quite interesting and I'm looking forward to trying it out when your finished with it.

No wonder that this price is so steep due to the quality. I'm definitly intrested in this as well.
