"House Cowboys" - Funky Electronix, new house duo

Hey guys! Me and a friend of mine got together to make some beats. Turned out a mixture of really classic chicago house and some wild electro house (hence the name). We are totally hyped by the track and we've been working on it all night... it's about 5:30 am here. We need some feedback on everything, so please give it your best or worst, as long as you're honest, cheers

god damn that sure is funky! It's almost awesome, but I have some feedback (purely from a personal perspective of course!)
ok, so the beginning is very cool. I love that stab that creeps in and the bongo rhythm here is booty-shaking indeed! After the first little break (0.36)it kicks in nicely. Deepish but seriously funky and grooving beautifully. The whoosh at 1.02 is a bit loud. Lovely filtering action. Ok, here's the first main break (1.14) and there's some really nice ideas here. The vocal works really well and this would be so awesome on the dancefloor. The only issue I have is with a slight discord (I think the stringy stab/pad clashes a bit with the deep EP chords). The bassline could be a bit funkier.
When it comes back in after the break (1.47) it kicks but it's lost some of the funk. Not sure about the brass stab... It's taken a different twist and I prefer the deep groovin vibe before the break. All the crazy stuff from thereon is very cool but I'm a sucker for Chicago over electro. And to me there's maybe a bit too much craziness going on? It reminds me of one of those megamixes!! But if you're going for crazy, then yay!
You're doing some brilliant stuff Ronnie. Dynamics-wise, you've got the dancefloor nailed. There's no doubt that this tune rocks. My ears would prefer it if there were one or two ideas that were developed throughout the track (preferably that gorgeous funky chicago vibe of the first minute or so), rather than the scattergun of elements... but then again, that's kind of your signature sound I think and I suppose it's up-to-date and 'down with the kids'

Pretty much an expanded point that I made yesterday. I still think that live the random sound would work a lot better but I'm finding it difficult to get into the track as it is. I don't know if you play live but perhaps it's time to start doing a 'radio mix' too.
That lead that comes in at 2.35 is excellent

Impressive overall sound and I'll just + 1 what Sazb30 said.
On addition to what he said I'll just mention that my personal feeling is that the 4 different parts hardly achieve one story, and I was more under the impressions of separate parts only glued with some Fx transitions. Might be just me though.
But the sound is punchy and hi energy is there
