Now that my Presonus is back in working order, and I have FINALLY had the chance to play around with Synthmaster, I LOVE IT!!!

Of course I will enter the contest. Are there any rules as to what we can use besides Synthmaster2, or does it need to be 100% Synthmaster2?

Hi everyone,

We have a new build for SynthMaster 2.0: 1.9.9.22

Here are the release notes for this build:

v1.9.9.22

1. FIX: Saving a preset after entering bank name crashes SynthMaster

2. FIX: Echo works in mono mode when Ping Pong is off.

v1.9.9.21

1. FIX: Global FX -> Vocoder EnvDecay Knob are 2 Knobs overlayerd(gui bug)

2. FIX: When wavetable osc's are used and a new waveform type is selected for an osc, SynthMaster crashes

3. FIX: Added voice volume scaling when unison > 1 voices

Hi folks,

A couple of update plus 70 new presets from Lotuzia will be in tonight's build #23

Regarding SynthMaster 2.0 Song Contest, we have determited the basic rules:

1. Voting: There will be public voting on KVRAudio via an online poll, however that poll will have a percentage on the final result. The percentage will between %25-%50, TBD.

2. Judges, other than the poll: We'll declare who they'll be here. They'll most likely be our friends/moderators at another music technology forum called MuzikTek.net (Best music technology forum in Turkish Language by the way), this way we'll make sure that the judges are completely neutral, unbiased.

2. Use of effects: Allowed, but please use only if necessary

3. Use of other instruments: Only drums are allowed, no other external instruments can be used. The reason is simple: We're trying to show off the potential of SynthMaster 2.0 here, why need for other instruments?

4. What if you dont have SynthMaster 2.0: If you are interested but dont have SynthMaster 2.0, you can get a free NFR license from us, as long as you show real interest in this contest by submitting us the first minute of your demo song made with SynthMaster 2.0 Demo.

5. Timeframe: We'll start accepting submissions on October 5th, but I'd strongly recommend everyone to wait until next week as we're expecting to receive 100+ presets from our fellow sound designers Cyforce and Xenos.
The final date of submission will be October 20th. Then there'll be a 1 week public poll here at KVR. After the poll ends, our judges will have another 2-3 days to decide, and by the end of the month we'll declare the top 3 winners.

6. Payment method for top 3 winners: We'll use PayPal.

Hi fellows,

We have a new build: 1.9.9.23

Here are the updates for this build:

1. UPDATE: We have 70 more presets, thanks to Lotuzia. He has done a great job of creating wonderful presets for us! That brings the total preset count to 288!

2. FIX: Keyscalers are not initialized when presets are loaded.

3. FIX: Basic/additive pulse/noise osc might cause crash.

Next week hopefuly we'll add 100+ more presets to our preset library, as we're waiting new presets from our designers Cyforce & Xenos. Hurry up guys

Now that we have this many presets, we're looking forward to receiving demo tune entries for our song contest

Hey Rob, what's S1?

Did you do a fresh copy? I mean if you had pripr versions of it just wipe out the entire folder and re-extract from the rar file.

I have the version you sent me in July

May work perfect in S1 with newer SM versions..

That's way too old and buggy. Just get the latest if you're interested for the song contest

Will be worth the price of admission alongside all the other excellent designers.
