If you buy the TDM bundle, it is $1200 for all nine of the existing TDM versions together. If you buy the Native bundle it is $500 for all 5 (+1) of the existing native versions together.

The question is, it would appear to be a reasonable assumption that the single TDM-and-native price for the new two will be $349 each, but what will the price be for those with either of the single-platform(*) bundles.?

(*) By which I mean TDM or Native. The Native plugin bundles are Mac/PC and AU, VST, Audiosuite and RTAS. Except for the 6th plugin (Speed) which is Audiosuite/Logic 8 only.

They aren't cheap though.

They aren't expensive at all.. i bought the bundle from JRR Shop for 400 dollars. And that is for 6 plugins!!
So it is 66 dollars for a plugin. For whatever sake, this is really cheap!!! 45 euros.. pffff, only those who want them for free should complain :p

You have absolutely no idea on whether $400 is expensive to me or not.

As you cannot pay $66 each for just the plugin/s you may want (I'd like the filter and maybe the delay) why break the price down???

BTW - I *personally* think that $400 for 6 plugins is too expensive. You may not depending on your financial situation.

I'd buy the native bundle if they would allow the C/R version of pace instead of actually requiring a physical dongle... I'm on a laptop, so hubs are a hassle, and so is the liability of stolen laptop = lost laptop AND software (and before the "insurance" crowd jumps in, insurance premiums on laptops here cost enough that the amount I would've paid so far would be more than the cost of replacing the laptop, and I have yet to find an insurance company that could even understand the idea of insuring software licenses against physical theft, let alone actually be willing to do it)

Native (VST) they're available since 2008 - around January if I remember correctly.

I'm hesitant of inserting my iLok number though (dunno if they start the "purchase" there already or not. ALso, is the VAT included or not?

Thing that makes me wonder though... why pay for the TDM version if you only intend to use Native (VST) and RTAS? I don't have PT HD (yet). Is there really no other price scaling?

There's no right/wrong answer here. Buying plugs one doesn't want to get a lower per plug price only makes sense if there are enough desirable plugs in the bundle -- desirable being a totally personal assessment. Of course, there's always the possibility down the road that one or more of the other plugs will become desirable.

Judging by screenshots looks like there is finally a preset browser. Hopefully it'll get added to all the other plugs in the next update...

Where are you based? If you're in the UK, try Marks and Spencers insurance.
After several letters I did manage to get them to insure the licenses on my iLok.

You know those guys who buy 125 dollar belts and 80 dollar ties. I know many and high prices are a must for them so they can feel better than everyone. But not everyone wants to get ripped off. But honestly it all about TDM not being able to be cracked. If it could they would lower the price.

But about these plugins. So much of the stuff that pro's rave about has been on PC for years. But because Voxengo's stuff is so cheap they allow their ears to get fooled. In fact, Duy, Analog console, and the like are not even as good as the cheap or even free stuff on PC. Its truly astonishing when you hear all these TDM plugins---you say--what was all the fuss about? These guys simply dont hear as well as you think.

I agree about DUY, tried it couple of years back and they sounded absolutely horrible. I couldn't understand what the fuss was about.. Granted, they are old plug-ins now but I don't think the algorithms were good at the time either pfft

Ahh Soundtoys.

Have the Native bundle.
I really like the sounds and some of the features offered.
The usability of the GUI's (and the drop down menu's etc) leaves a fair bit to be desired though.
Still well worth the faff.

I also wait with baited breath regarding more news on the pricing for existing owners.
