On the voting front I'll go for the way of keeping it simple - but a bit less so than at present...
On that front, any sort of top three system would be fine by me.
Anymore and I think we'd loose interest rather than gain it...
Can I assume that Gargoyle has been decided on now?
I'm already working on something anyway
Cheers,
Mouxbar

And I had not heard of the Eurosong Contest but I did see something about it on anther thread but it sounds like a great idea. I guess if there were going to a USsong contest, as far as electronic music goes I guess it should be based on the Detroit area as I've heard that there is huge techno/dance seen there.
Oh! I did come close to needing to learn Italian back in the 1990's when I dated a girl who's mother is from Italy and they would go to see here in laws about once a year in Italy.
I should mention I am a Tiesto fan as well.
Any good Italian techno/dance/electro bands I should here??

You're probably getting mixed up with another contest, the Eurosong thing is actually the festival of kitsch songs and singers - that's what makes it a huge lot of fun to watchabstractcats wrote: And I had not heard of the Eurosong Contest but I did see something about it on anther thread but it sounds like a great idea.
Anyway, now and then some truly good songs emerge from the contest.
Some years ago Italy partecipated with this song (begins at around 1 minute). I love the song and the girl has a beautiful voice - too bad the three minute limit imposed the contest forced them to present a shortened version of this track, plus the bad sound typical of this event
Have you been here, too, then?abstractcats wrote:Oh! I did come close to needing to learn Italian back in the 1990's when I dated a girl who's mother is from Italy and they would go to see here in laws about once a year in Italy.

Not my cup of tea, unfortunately, but there's an amazing ebm band I know who also release their stuff thru an American label, have a look and a listen

If you like old stuff my suggestion is for Datura & Usura, I used to be a fan of them when I was a teenabstractcats wrote:Any good Italian techno/dance/electro bands I should here??
These was some of my favourites tunes
Datura - Eternity:
Datura + Usura - Infinity:
Datura - Yerba Del Diablo:
Datura - Angeli Domini:
Usura - Open your mind:
Control Unit - Ti Sei Bevuto Il Cervello (Digital Boy rmx):
(:hihi:
EDIT: the most incredible thing is that Peroni, the one which wrote the "text", still takes royalties on this song!
Molella - I feel confusion:
The Tamperer Featuring Maya - Feel It:
Gigi D'Agostino - The Riddle:
...and so on
Ok, end of the shit

+ 1 for datura (the album is fantastic, get it if you can). D'agostino is an idiot, but his version of The Riddle is quite good.
