Do it! It's amazing the stuff that is out there for it now. I used to think it wasn't really for serious stuff but with the amidio apps and this http://www.harmonicdog.com/ i can see i was wrong. A drum sequencer by iZotope, you'll need to purchase the Standalone, RTAS (Pro Tools 7+), Audio Unit, VST, MAS version for $60 bucks for the import, export features. iPod version must sync up to Standalone version to swap files.
