Ok kukla, I've taken out your file as per request .... re-up at your leisure.

I have yet another gig to dash off to, so I'll catch you all tomorrow. :)

Hey, I'm a very supportive person, but I can't help everybody... :x
what i ment is that gargoyle is not supported on macs..its not available for macs in other words..

yea..somehow we would need a complete list of free vsti's for mac/pc on wich we could choose from for further comps..

would really like to take part , especially on this halloween theme, but to buy a pc extra for that is not an option nor is using a vm ware..

i do understand its way more flexible to choose a specific theme with certain pc freeware, since there is way more around as mentioned..

dont now how i could help besides making a list of free vsti's for mac & pc..

cheers

Post

just made a search here on kvr for free vsti's with almost no luck..so there is really not alot available , wich makes the whole thing rather uninteresting for me..

maybe if somehow smebody would like to start a single vst commercial comp..

with like zebra or something..we could do a petition on wich synth we would like or smth..

Not to get off topic but I find them through the forums.

Gargoyle is pretty neat. I'm going to try and create something tonight.

I got tired of working so I made another track. Its not especially scary and is named accordingly.

hopefully the mix isn't too painful to your ears. i've been working in the studio all day on a hip-hop session and my ears are shot.
Don't F**K with Mr. Zero.

Good stuff Ah_Dziz! cheers for submitting. :)

Welcome to OSC saturninus ... best of luck with your track.

Zork, thanks for your interest in OSC, shame it cant be easier for you to participate in your preferred format. The idea of a seperate OSC for Mac has been mentioned before .. and it may well be worth opening a thread to guage interest.
Not being on a Mac, this is something I dont feel I can do, but I am more than willing to provide advice and support re. running such a comp. So by all means, post a thread .. see who wants to have a go! .... and dont be disheartened if you only have a handful of participants ..... thats enough to get started. :)

Right ..... I've got some scary track writing to do!!

Two weeks to go :)

This is really hard. I don't understand how Gargoyle works really! :)

Post

Yeah, it is a beast to figure out! I found myself pulling many of the controls to back to minimum and learning one bit at a time!
If you're struggling, gimme a shout ... I'll be writing a bit later, it'll be easier then... with the synth open ... to write a quick 'top to bottom' guide. :)

Looks like I'm gonna have to skip the Gargoyle comp :(

My baby is arriving soon:

...and once this has been plugged in, there's no room for Gargoyle.
(I can't wait to try Gargoyle out on the 88 key monster though....but that will have to wait a while)

 :hihi: I hope not. I'm not to be the judge of that I suppose!
I'm ready for a Kurzweil PC3x challenge though. As long as it doen't involve carrying the board around that is

Post

...looks big enough for you to bang a set of wheels on it and let it carry you around! :hihi:

Actually it isn't bigger than a usual stage piano. Might even be a it smaller at 24,5 kg (54 lb) and a 140 cm length. Bigger than that and the bed would have to go.....but as we all know, bigger is better innit? :hihi:
