Hi Folks!

Access just released the first public beta TI OS with 64bit support!...

I've been waiting for this for so long!

I've checked the 64bit ASIO audio driver and it works well in Cantabile. I've set up 128 samples buffer but the ultra fast 49 samples setting works too - for the price of heavy timing load in Cantabile...

The new TI VST plugin is 64bit too... lucky that we have the choice with Cantabile 64bit...

Even better that there is jBridge integration in Cantabile... I have to check this out now - as most of my other plugins are 32bit...

Access have well hidden the alternative 32bit plugin... so it's also possible to use the 64bit asio and midi with a 32bit VSTi... in Cantabile 32bit

...not many 64bit experiences with Cantabile so far...

I'm having an eye on several Novation controllers and their Automap technology. Looks genious at first but to wrap all plugins in it's Automap server seems to be a bit odd too...

I've downloaded the standard Automap software you can get for free from their site and discovered that it acts like 64 bit plugins in Vista 64bit... means I had to use Cantabile 64bit too... sadly Automap x64 seems to find 64 bit plugins only too... maybe I missed sometzhing here or what to wrap next? ...using jBridged 32bit plugins to make these visible for the x64 Automap server to make them usable?

This seems nor simple neither hassle free to me...

So what's left? Using Novations controllers via good old midi? ...even for this I've found hints that this needs Automap software and does not work well in any circumstance...

...really nice this new feature world...
