Hello,
maybe someone can help me,
im after a simple guiless vst gainer plugin. something that raises the volume from 0dB to +12dB...or 0dB to +24dB...something like that. anyone knows of such a simple tool ?
i know of Ggainer wich does what i want but it has a gui. I would like it to be guiless since i have to load dozens of instances of the same plug.

The MDA plugins don't have a GUI. But your host will put on it's default gui anyway.
Maybe one of these dynamics plugins can be used as a simple gain plugin:

thanks for the tip, cookie.
but i guess the mda stuff you suggested is way too complex for what i want. i looking for something that has only one knob and is guiless. if it has "many" parameters like a compressor or limiter it will eat much more cpu cycles.

Sorry fellas - in my haste to try to help I didn't associate "Ggainer" with "Ggain". I was aware of the no-GUI bit but Ggain's GUI is so basic that I'm sure it wouldn't tax any computer's resourses even with the required dozens of instances up-and-running - correct me if I'm wrong. Spilt milk anyhow, insertpizhere has saved the day...

I hope I'll offend no-one and infringe no copyright or owt but I've been using this wee plug-in for years which does what you want. Can't remember where I got it from, sorry! No gui, one knob, absolutely minimal CPU.
