A variation of Noisebud Filter, this has four BandPass filters and a pumped LFO section. The LFO has wat we call a VariFO, a variable LFO. You can make the LFO speed follow a sinus curve.

Features:

Noisebud Filter.
consists of 4 filter wired in parallel and every filter has a phase invert button. The idea is to let for example the lopass and hipass filter sweep over each others frequenses and let the Phase silence those freq that is overlaping. Cool effect.
It's a easy way to make a boring bassline come to live (for example).

Noisebud Stepdad:
Stepsequenser controlled filter, basicly you can make a single sawtooth tone that span over 4 bars sound like a 303. It's an different approach to make things happen.

Boring Basslines come to live - that sounds good! Thanks for the freebies!

I'm working on a version 2 of Noisebud Filter where you can choose what kind of filter you want to use for each and one of the 4 filters, you will be able to run 4 lopass filters in parallell (if you like). I'm also thinking of adding a SloFO, a third LFO (Really slow LFO) just to make something happen really slow over a number of bars. Maybe add a Ringmodulator and remove the possibility to "control" the LFO with white or pink noise.
Any thoughts and ideas are welcome.

The SloFO is a really good idea! But why would you remove a feature? If people don't wann use it, it won't hurt if it's there nevertheless, as long as you don't add dozens of features and it gets bloated.

All true... I think it over, the noise controlled LFO can cause some problems since the LFO jumps like crazy and puters don't seems to like that, that's why I was thinking about adding the ringmodulator, it will be able to give about the same effect but without any side effects (plus some more nice squeeeeeeqs).

A big "thank you" from me. Both seem to be very usable - and have a nice GUI too!

Stepdad won't work in Wavelab, thanks to Thor for pointing that out. It's made to be used in a sequenser so neither I or any of my beta testing friends tried it in any editors.

Does anybody know how to set "Setup Factory 8" to install the DLL's into the VST folder by itself?

Or recommend another install maker that can... ???

Would be great!

Post

Never used Setup Factory.

2 excellent freeware installers:

Inno Setup
+ ISTool

or

NSIS

If those don't suit you Google or look here for other alternatives:

...Steven

Edit:
If you're looking for specific help with using Setup Factory you probably should post a thread in the KVRaudio Developer's Forum instead of the Effects Forum.
What you're looking to do is to ask the user where their VST folder is and perhaps create a subfolder of your own to put your plug-ins into.
