How much?
Now that you know where we stand and what it implies on our end,
I'll let you suggest something that you think is fair.

Torley rules. I probably listened to his tracks 5 times. Even my son keeps saying "chipsoouuuunds!" in the house.topaz wrote:From what I have read people seem to not mind a $15 fee, although of course people would prefer a free service like NI, etc.
Regardless I will be buying chipsounds, Torleys demo video has sold me.

Well you see, i think 15$ is reasonable, and close to what I had in mind.
Of course NI has a challenge/response system that connects to the original author, and de-authorizes the old licensee, and so they assured that the previous user cant run the software anymore, but we cant.
We have no proof that the previous user of chipsounds has wiped the version that he has, (which will still run fine). So 15$ is both some kind of insurance policy against illegitimate misuse of an app which you dont have a license to use, and some mean to get paid for the time spent in manually creating a new license (shareit cant do it for us, not without an extra fee IIRC).

I would like to know what you all mean by "dont work" over /32 , it works here, although it might not sound good under some waveforms, because of the fast note ON note OFF sequence, and it also depends on how the ADSR is set. So the wave seq should be used for ultra fast arps.topaz wrote:I have been working with Chipsounds today... great fun. well done Dave.
I can confirm, the Arp does not work over /32 in logic 9.01
Host automation we are looking into it. Looking on how best to integrate that in cs..even though i hate the fact that its not sample accurate.topaz wrote: And also need to emphasize the need for a mono timbre version with host automation. cheers.

ca you record a segment and send it at chipsounds.support @ plogue.com ?
Runs great here in Live 8 (Mac SL 10.6.1:Duo2 2.2) so can't speak for Win, CPU very good, poly chips in one instance with separate output pairs, all with own midi channel and CCs are nice and easy to use in clips (they are all numbered next to each control that supports them) so clip automation is nice and easy (and very tight) and don't forget the private cc12 for pitch shift of the wave sequencer which lets you do really crazy shit.Throwing a lot of stuff at Chipsounds and is very stable.rpc9943 wrote:How does this run in ableton 8?
