I also have a problem with AUIPCServer quitting when authenticating Albino 3 although the plugin appears to work after restarting Logic. After light use, I got an unexpected error dialog box while closing Logic. I'm considering not using Albino 3 at all.
Please Linplug, advise us on this issue.

Albino3 is now disabled in AU manager for me. I got occasional quits from Logic and Mainstage even though Albino3 wasn't loaded into a channel. And I am working on almost nothing in the projects - just UltraBeat while I transfer some kits from L8 to L9 on a clean install MBP. No other plugsin at all. And the reason I am using UltraBeat is because RMV caused crashes in L8. So I have gradually reduced it down to zero LinPlug plugins on my setup.

I have overlooked this problem because after upgrading to Logic 9 the application has not performed the scanning (it has used the results of Logic
. And on OS X 10.6 the AUIPCServer crashes are silent.
The AUIPCServer is probably used to get test results or configuration after running auvaltool and at some point is stuck and crashes. The crash logs I've seen show no connection to instrument code to get hint what's really happening there. Also it's not possible to debug the process because it's spawned from Logic and runs as separate process.
I see no affection of this process crash on LinPlug instruments in Logic 9, all are validated succesfully and run. If you have experienced problems with instruments within Logic 9 please let us know as well. We're just preparing new RM V 5.0.5 beta which fixes problem when Logic crashes when saving project with assets and some others.
We will contact Apple and will try to do our best to resolve AUIPCServer problem.

This seems to be fixed in latest Logic 9.1 version, however you can validate 32bit plugins only in 32bit mode from AudioUnit Manager window. They run ok in Logic's 64bit mode when succesfully validated.
