Finally tried the RP-Verb demo - it can actually be as smooth as my LXP bundle. amazing

for me it is between redline and aether, though i need to get home to my good headphones to be sure...love redline's accessibility and quick results but still aether kinda makes me wanna cry (good tears)

aether just seems too muddy for me, but RP has some great preset sound design effectsebow wrote:hahaha......loving redline.......ttoz wrote:what? redline is not even in the same league as rp, not even in the same stratosphere.sureno wrote:Just trying the 112dB redline reverb.... i think its now between that and RP and redline is in the lead so farebow wrote:definitely proving a little difficult to decide which one i will lust after (but still not be able to afford to buy)......

See i think you just answered for me mate, i used to use plat verb in logic and i recall you saying it was metallic and grainy, this is may be why i like redline so much, aether just seems to drown everything?

Don't forget that reverb sounds anticlockwise in the Southern hemisphere.
I find Redline completely unmetallic. But saying that I've only ever really compared it do the bargain Sandford reverb.

i'm still unsure about redline and rp...i'm not at home with my good headphones....we shall see....aether is still looking top but the other 2 aren't out of the picture
i'm wondering how they all stack up against wavearts masterverb which i enjoyed a while back...considering i really love their trackplug it would be easy to get the 'verb as part of the bundle

Agreedttoz wrote:well am ressurecting this as i finally took the plunge on rp-verb today.
Hope more people check out this fantastic reverb and realize what they are missing
again i am surprised this seems to be one of the least talked about reverbs here, and almost zero word about it at gearslutz.
this is teh awesome verb.
But RP isn't in the 'cool kids' dev camp unfortunately. Even the reverb (loosely based on RP-Verb I think) in the last Predator update is awesome.
