I know ..... I said that I wouldn't have time ..... then I got a sudden day off from 'real life'.

So, I've cheated slightly
I trawled through my 'odds and ends box' and come up with three bits which were originally done for the K-M contests a while ago.
In the true spirit of the KVR contest (Your entry(s) must be composed specifically for this contest), which does actually mean 'recorded for', I have re-designed each of these pieces.

I assure you all that I have taken every one to bits and re-mastered those tracks that I haven't re-recorded.
In one I have changed the song lyric entirely and recorded some new parts.
In another I have taken out the song and added a harmonica and other bits.
In the other I have re-made most of the parts from scratch.

In all of them I have gone through every pre-existing track and refined it through effects and filters.
:o
It's been a busy day here.

Finishing Line is a piece about an instrumental race. Acoustic fretless bass, three acoustic guitars, two mandolins, two penny whistles and a tambourine each take their turn to fit in before the end of the minute.

1 Minute Blues is exactly that. Drums, bass, three guitars and harp.

The Dance is a bit of smoothy jazz/blues about the old guy trying to get his way with the gal!

Two

It's a sin for someone who has absolutely no music training to compose anything that even remotely sounds symphonic. Especially for someone who is as far away from the Western world as is geographically possible.
How many rules have I broken here? :D

Hi

I thought I would enter my 3 tunes as well

1. Cruising on Sevens- title made in a hurry as it is an ethnic style instrumental in 7/8 time signature

2. I'm a Robot- I think I've really become a Robot
Lyrics:
Help I'm becoming a Robot

Work- Yes Sir
Eat- Yes Sir
Sleep- Yes Sir
Live- Invalid command
Alright.... Exist- Yes sir
Work- Yes Sir
Eat- Yes Sir
Live- Invalid command
Love- Invalid command system failure

3. Encourage Me- Everyone needs a little of encouragement ...I do certainly..
Lyrics:-
I can sing you something
If you happen to like it
will you please tell me
I can't go on singing
without having someone
to encourage me

Thank you for listening[/code]

everyone say hello to my happy trio; one's sky-gazing, the other is making up words, and the third one went insane hanging around with the other two :D

Some 1-minute tracks:

Frozen Shore
Accumulations
Lightning (I had planned to have more time today to finish this one, something came up . . . it's mostly OK, I think the lead is off. Oh well.)

Nice theme this month :)
