Hey everyone,
I got several kits in the Drum Masters group buy that happened several months back and I never resolved one major issue. Someone posted a solution to the problem that I failed to memorize and now that thread is gone so I'll have to ask again.
A couple kits have missing files even though I installed them all exactly the same way (dragging the zipped kit files onto the infinite player installer window). The Motown Soul kit has one missing file which I skip while loading and the kit seems to work, but the NDV Mapx Blasticks kit has 1280 missing files (although the original zip file appeared to be full size) and won't load for playing so I need to be able to resolve this.
Anyone remember how to deal with this problem? Other people had the same issues and someone figured out a solution, IIRC.

Chances are you didn't download the full zip. All you have to do is redownload them and make sure you use the new Infinite Library Installers which you can get in the support section of www.sonicreality.com Also, you can look at the original size the zip is supposed to be on line and then compare that to what the final download is to make sure it is close to the same.

I'll try again but the downloaded zip sizes matched the sizes shown in my downloads area. That's why I couldn't figure out what the problem was. The workaround someone posted didn't involve just redownloading---they said something about unzipping the file manually, IIRC.
If there's a new installer then maybe whatever the problem was won't be an issue now.

Don't know if you've solved this one already, but I'll try to lend a helping hand. I've experienced the same issue with one of the DM kits. What I did was that I unzipped the downloaded folder and then compared sizes of the sample related files to what had been installed on my computer by the Infinite installer in the sonic reality folder. (Can't tell you the exact file endings since I'm not in front of my music computer, but nk..something. There are several of them). I found that some files in the "manually" extracted folder were bigger than those that had been installed by the installer. I simply replaced those individual files and it worked like a charm. Don't know if this helps you.
