Hello,

1) I used the link from my original Ambience donation to download again from the secure server. Will this be the updated version as indicated on the forum?

2) I don't know if I am missing something obvious, but I can't figure a way to delete the included presets. I would like to save just my own patches, but the 'delete preset' button in the pull-down menu is always inactive.

3) Have you considered developing this reverb any further? It is truly wonderful (I've compared it to many software verbs), but adding a modulation/chorus option for the reverb tails would make this *killer* :D

Best wishes for 2004,
arrangeit

Hi Arrangeit,

1) Remove the filename (the stuff after the last /)from the link and you will get an index of files that you can download.

2) I don't know how to answer this question well, this probably changes from host to host. It should be possible for you to save and load your own banks and presets if the host supports it.

3) I am working on a new reverb which does have modulation... also an EQ... :D

Happy 2004!
Magnus

If you download the AU there will be no GUI since the AU version doesn't have a GUI. There's also a windows build of Ambience without the GUI because one person requested a version without GUI, so you should stay away from that one too.

If the link you have points directly to a file and not to a list of files, you should remove all the characters after the last / in the link and you should get a list of files instead. I can email you the correct link in private if you want. I don't want to mention it directly in the forum though.

Hope this helps! If it's unclear or there are some problems just post a reply.

Magnus,

'...I am working on a new reverb which does have modulation... also an EQ...'

This is great news :D

If you can get that soft, spreading, very slightly chorused sound in the tails I would be overjoyed.
Also a way to adjust the amplitude of the early reflections and an EQ bypass button. Personally, I would like you to develop this one without regard for CPU usage...just give us the killer, ultra-smooth verb!

Just don't lose the Ambience sound or the grain variation button...

Any possible delivery date?

Cheers,
arrangeit

BTW...I think I'll forward another modest donation to spur you on in your efforts!

Hi arrangeit,

There's no delivery date yet. My arms are full right now with all the plugin projects and school things i need to work on  :?

Right now I'm focusing on adding presets to MjRotoDelay and make a new release of that one, if it has presets people can more easily see all the different things this plugin can do.

Then I will probably be focusing on the reverb again :D

Damn Magnus ! As my son says "You Rawk!" Thanks for your dedication to quality!
