1. I admittedly was using a pirated version of Albino 3.0.2, and decided to buy it. How do I change my serial number from the old pirated one to the new one that I've purchased.
2. When exporting audio in ableton 7, the tone of albino changes. In one part of a song I wrote I cranked up the cutoff and resonance. It sounds nice and sharp during playback in arrangement mode, but after I export it the sound is brittle and distorted. What could cause a difference in the two? All other instruments sound identical.
Thanks a lot for any help,
Dave

Sorry, but i must ask you first why you asked a pirated version when the demo version from Albino is fully working except a little noise after some minutes???
1.) De-install your cracked version and install your new version and enter your serial number...
2.) Please, try to export audio with an other synth and look if the same happened, when the sound sounds okay, there is maybe an other plugin open who destroyed the sound...

Save your settings, uninstall Albino then erase every albino-related registry entry in the registry editor. After that you can reinstall Albino using your legit serial

To answer Xenon's question, I downloaded a pirated version on the recommendation from a friend to check this vst out. I liked it a lot. $240 isn't too much to ask for a fine instrument. I was able to enter my new serial number by deleting the file found in my preferences folder. I'm still having trouble though exporting sound. There are inaccuracies in the exported wav file from the playback you'll hear in ableton. Here are the wav file and the ableton live set of the quick test I've done to show you the difference between the sound of the ableton playback and the exported wav file.
ALS: http://www.sendspace.com/file/lp47k7
Wav: http://www.sendspace.com/file/so7xl3
You'll hear in the live set just a simple chord and I turn up the cutoff and res., in the wav file there's some strange tone that occurs in the beginning, and you'll hear the tone become sharper and slightly distorted once the cutoff and res get high compared to the way it sounds in the live set.
There aren't any effects on this track or any other tracks in the session. What could be causing this? My other vsts don't do this (i.e. Minimonsta, etc.). Thanks for your help.
