D-CAM Synthsquad Kore templates

Since I now have this I've started making templates for using it in Kore as I always like to have handson control of my synths. It might take a few days as they are not simple to map - not all params are mappable unfortunately and there are a lot in the more complex synths so I've started simple with Strobe.
versions for Kore 1 and Kore 2:
Kore 1
Kore 2
see how this works - I've stuck to the simplest layout for playability and have put the filter at the top but this may need some fine tuning. I've tried to group controls logically and for maximum playability and to keep the same control in the same place on each page for easy learning.

These are preliminary models so if anyone feels they could be laid out differently let me know - they were quite fiddly to map to controls as they have a lot of params and some unusual features (e.g. the two filters with the shared cutoff in Cypher) which meant I had to make some compromises for usability.

No problem. I make these for myself anyway so it's not much extra effort to share them and hopefully that then encourages others to do the same - I guess there are a lot of Kore users so I do want to encourage everyone who makes a patch or template for their own use - why not share it with the community? (NI still haven't got together a Kore user library - maybe they decided the logistics re copyright etc were too complex?)taoyoyo wrote:Many thanks for sharing... I'd started to Kore-up Strobe but hadn't really finished.
(It's not the first time I've nabbed a Kore template from you so double-thanks!)

... I'm happy to share what I've done too. Most of mine are VSTs so should hopefully work cross-platform (though there's a couple of AU's where a: there is no VST version or b: where the VST version does not like Kore... read T-Racks).aMUSEd wrote:No problem. Would be good if there was a central place to store/download them though.

All we have at the moment is a sticky thread on the NI forum - I think they may be reluctant to officially sanction a proper user area due to the possibility of people posting patches that infringe copyright (which would be difficult for them to manage) - its certainly taken them a while if that's not the reason.

After some tweaking and experimentation I've updated the Cypher template so if you have it please download again. The difficulty is that the filters have more params than the other synths and cover more than one page but for live playing I like to have as many "instant impact" controls on a single page as possible so I redid the first filters page choosing the params I find have the biggest sonic impact on the filters. There are still 2 dedicated pages with all the filter params (though I've also added a cutoff to each for extra usability).

Added a few experimental morphing patches made with Kore 2's morphing grid and Cypher (just to see if it's possible - it is):
