Hi os,
Augustus is really happening... Silent Way is very cool as well!
So am I to understand that THE Silent Way DC Input function will work with any Audio interface regardless of whether or not it is DC coupled?
To start out I would like to be able to just feed 0-5vdc to the inputs of my audio interface and convert the control voltage to MIDI cc, OSC, right(without damaging my audio interface)?
I did read that statement that "....you just need the 'right' VCA..." well in my case I am not getting the control voltage from a VCA output just from a 5VDC source and a pot.
Thanks,
AL

If it works don't fix it unless you have to update it, then if it doesn't work don't fix it unless it belongs to your Wife, then at that point bury it!

Yes that's true. You do need the VCA though. Check the Silent Way user manual for the details.misteralan wrote:So am I to understand that THE Silent Way DC Input function will work with any Audio interface regardless of whether or not it is DC coupled?

Thanks,
I just RTFM.... Very clever you are!
I can imagine a whole bunch of fruitful experiments to perform!
Someone once said 'it's not the notes but the rests that really count'
or something to that effect.
I always enjoy reading your prose os... You have a very interesting style of expressing your thoughts.
