Hi, im new to the site & im looking for a good preferbly free or low costing/low cpu amp for drums to help give them alittle extra flavour & weight... all im able to find so far are guitar amps! ..im wondering if anyone can point out some good one's they use or reccomend...

For weight, compress/limit? For flavour, maybe an impulse-based reverb with an appropriate IR (e.g. sampled from a tape deck)? I've not tried either -- I've only tried guitar amp sims, and "put up" with their effect; I particularly enjoy damaging things with CM Fuzz

and could tell it did something dynamic with drums.Youd have to mess with the wet dry signal of course,and other settings. havent had a
chance to experiment with it further and refine it.id be intersested in knowing what you found if you do find something.

good amp sim for drums ?
