Yes, I am writing about this again (the Roland VH11 Hi-Hat) & the TD12 module & Ocean Way Drums.
Even though I posted a solution to make my hi-hat work with OWD awhile ago by changing midi notes in the TD12 module, I finally have once & for all figured out how to do it.
It is so easy it's unbelievable & is all thanks to 'bobbythedrummer' on YouTube.
Here's what you do & yes, the OWD V-Drum Map works perfectly for my TD12 & for the Hi-HAT (VH11)
In your TD12 module:
Press: TRIGGER
Press: HI-HAT (F3)
*** Change HI-HAT Type to VH12 *** THIS IS THE KEY ***
Then go into Ocean Way Drums & load a V-Drum Kit.
I'm not kidding - that is it!
The thing I was missing all along was to change the HI-HAT type to VH12 in my TD12 module.
Every other kit piece sets up beautifully to match your TD12 - just make sure to use the V-Drum map only.
