i tried making one of these in plogue a while ago, but i got caught in a feedback loop; might try again, for free!

+1 ... that waves stuff looks like a serious ripoff...at least to me.

I agree the price is steep but what a time saver .... to even get close and then send it home with the automation envelopes. If someone could get this happening in the $50 to $75 range it would be a no brainer.

I guess its rather meant for dialogue in sound for picture than music production.

A finger and a fader will still do the job a lot better.
