No comments/suggestions? Wow! I guess I must have perfected this the first time around
Seriously though anyone spent any time with this? I know the title says EQ, but this is just as much a stereo tool as it it an EQ.
Plus any suggestions or constructive criticism will help improve/develop future versions
Cheers,
Matt

not much to say but my review is:
- It does exactly what it says it does
- lightweight, stable and sounds good
- automation seems pretty complete except the position control seems odd but I didn't rtfm yet

- GUI is nice, controls are smooth- no issues at all that I can find on my system other than the automation thing (but I haven't rtfm still)
Thanks!

@ deaf dunderkwac - Thanks, just the kind of thing I was looking for
It seems I've messed up the naming of the position automation parameters. I hadn't noticed this myself. I'll fix that as soon as I can.
@ Aloysius - Thanks, I'm glad you like it. My main hope is that some people find this useful, so it's nice to get some positive feedback.

Hi Matt! Everything I picked I'll use. Thank you VERY much for this. Fantastic stuff. I don't use a lot of automation but will be looking forward to the newer 'fixed' version, just as soon as it becomes available.matt42 wrote:@ deaf dunderkwac - Thanks, just the kind of thing I was looking forIt seems I've messed up the naming of the position automation parameters. Thanks matt42
your response time was very gud
I award you one free internet
...and a gold star
and I hardly use automation eq's but I feel the need to completely check on the DC9 entries since there are so many!
My first impressions of stuff is rarely accurate

Tried it in c buddes vst plugin analyzer and found out that the hipass cut off oh so little bass even when fully counter clockwise. Maybe, not a problem, but perhaps it should be switchable? (or is it!?) Very nice plug, btw.
My name is Jonas.

Well, the controls have been set up to try to provide musical settings.mr jkn wrote:Tried it in c buddes vst plugin analyzer and found out that the hipass cut off oh so little bass even when fully counter clockwise. For the most cut from the HP try turning frequency all the way clockwise and the Q all the way anti-clockwise.
You can also set values outside of the range by typing directly in the text box
Be careful with Q if you set try setting to zero you might cause the filter to blow up - I just noticed and will fix this ASAP.
Hope that helps,
Matt

Found a bug:
closing then opening the GUI would freeze the meters.
I've fixed this and updated the entry
This also fixes an optimization which shuts down the meters when the gui is closed saving a bit of CPU. Not much of a saving, but could add up if you use multiple instances.

Hi! Thanks or the update. I'm very happy that you are finding and fixing bugs that I haven't even noticed yet but no doubt would eventually.
I'm really impressed with your work so I want to ask if you have made other VST Plugins too? I'd love to check them out if you have! Thanks, and keep up the great work. I hope you do very well in the Competition.
