It's based on the "data corruption" effect found in the noisebot synths, with a sort of resynthesizer & a ring modulator to drive the "corruption". The results will always be somewhat unpredictable, and will probably only slightly resemble the input material, but that's the idea.

My latest remix for Jazzyspoon uses this effect on the sorta chime-like sound during the intro & outro.

It does use a redirect for the subdomain (the only thing I could think of that would set something like that off), try http://www.skincontact.com/synthgeek/node/94

Hey, synthgeek, thanks for this far-out audio effect!

I don't know if it's just me, but I'm using the sg-corruptor in VST Host and the GUI has the filter and stages menus hidden from me. I can't select anything from those two menus from the GUI and the fields are blank; I have to call up the VST parameter sliders view.

I downloaded this plug yesterday in the afternoon (Tuesday 24th November, in Puerto Rico).

Anyway, this is a good effect to wreck havoc on boring pads and stuff like that! Excellent work!

Thanks for the report. It seems these lists are causing problems all over- I'll probably just have to go back to the standerd SE list box, at least for now.

Ok, I've uploaded a new version, now uses the default SE list module. I will be going through my other plugs too, soon-ish (hopefully).
