How does REAPER do it?

I, for one, work the fastest with Reaper. Tried Cubase, tried Sonar, tried FL, they were all too slow for me. I do all the stuff I did there at least 5 times quicker. It's a godsend.

considering that FL and Reaper were both built with Borland Delphi... still it seems to me like FL works much faster than Reaper does.

...plus if you ask me 3-man army of reaper's developers sound kind of suspicious

As it goes, the last few versions of FL have been C++. Irritatingly they abandoned Delphi. Maybe it was too many FWAITs inserted If only some of the issues surrounding FPC/LCL and DLL object and message cue sharing could be fully sorted, then there's be XPlatform pascal VST and hosts but until then..

OK, why are you being a dick, man? Xenakios happens to be the man who programmed a great extension for Reaper, increasing its functionality tenfold at least. Just calm down your horses and stop being a prick without a legitimate reason. :/
