I want the next update to Mr. Alias Pro to be extremely professional.

One thing I added is drawable waveforms:

This isn't really that useful, but it's fun. Left-click/drag to set sample value, Right-click/drag for silence. It loads, saves, and records wav files... I'm trying to resist the temptation to make a full-featured wave editor here.

Next, the demo version can be unlocked with a key file. It will take me a while to make the keys for all the current registered users, but the demo version is fully functional except for the annoying bouncing box, and that on Tuesdays, parameters change themselves at random while the GUI is open.

Anybody who "won" the Mr. Alias Challenge or who has ever donated for Mr. Alias will get a key file eventually. Contact me if you need it immediately.

What I need is some more presets, especially ones that use the LFOs and other "Pro" features. I don't care so much what they sound like. They can be made in the demo version or any other version of Mr. Alias 2/Pro. Sending me presets will also get you a license.

That reminds that I did start building a collection of presets for regular old MrAlias, partially inspired by the 9Soundware Error and Discord sample sets - I thought, why sample when I could synthesise digital nastiness. You can find them now in the KVR library as the Glitch My Smack Up set. YMMV but a number of them were designed to be useful in glitch-type tracks. Some sound vaguely like regular synth patches.

I was going to do a demo track but never got around to it. However, the Music Cafe competition has provided a new opportunity.

But the less pro from all the proest features seems to be that the midi learn gets reset since you change the preset

yes, midi mapping is per patch, if that's what you mean... but in the right-click menu you can apply them to the whole bank, to have it on all patches. maybe i'll make it an option to apply them to the bank by default.

Ah, ok, fine, i hadn't noticed that.

Are you ever going to make this baby reliant upon a dongle? It can't possibly be "Pro" without a little bit of iLok...

BTW I still haven't gotten around to donating but I love this synth so I will do it one of these days...
