Crashes here too when I use modwheel. And when selecting presets "ARP12" and "ARP15" it crashes in the ck_gui_envelope module. Maybe there are other crashy presets.

It crashes every host I've tried. If you're using CK_GUI_envelopeXX modules then the only working combination will be to update them to the v2 version and use the latest SE (which is buggy as people say, but at least it worked for me with latest odo's creation). It has something to do with non-English locale settings which I happen to have on my Windows.
Tested on different machines, Win x32/x64, different hosts (renoise, vsthost, minihost) btw.
If it's not a big problem to recompile it using the newest versions I would be eternally grateful, this is a very useful synth with wonderful arp section

Thanks, Jack R!
Modwheel works fine, but the synth still chokes on certain presets (arp12, arp14, arp15...)

Well I would recompile with the newest version of SE, but it's just way too unstable at this point and might just create more problems. Once there's a stable version available I'll see what I can do, but for now I'm gonna have to stick to good old v1.0. Does it crash when adjusting the envelopes? or is it only preset specific?Nahkranoth wrote:Thanks, Jack R!

No crashes while adjusting envelopes so far. Still can't figure out what's wrong with some presets thoJack R wrote:Does it crash when adjusting the envelopes? or is it only preset specific?

Are there any known issues saving patches/banks for Metatron v1.0.2 under EnergyXt2.5.2? If I load Metatron, Rename PAD64, make changes to the preset, and the save the patch (fxp) or entire bank (fxb), the save succeeds, but the contents appear to be the same as PAD64.Jack R wrote:Metatron has now been updated to v1.0.2:

I know this is a pretty old thread, I remember you mentioning that you had lost some of your SE stuff in a disk crash, don't know if Metatron was affected. In any case...
This a very, very cool & inspiring little instrument. I'm finding that it fits really well with some polyrhythmic stuff I'd like to do live.
Two issues:
1. The sync drift issues you'd mentioned. In addition, regardless of settings, I can't find a way to have it "start" in the same place (retrigger) on successive key presses. I'm guessing this is by design, and is exactly what you want in some cases. For what I'm doing, it has to start in the same place & run a predictable, if evolving, course. Is that doable, if not, is it a feature you could easily code in?
2. CPU use is higher than similar SE VSTi's, in Kore 2, as well as Bidule. Not horrendous, but significant.
I know you're devoting a lot of time to Cerebrum. I also read in some thread that you've pulled back on coding to return to writing/playing. I stopped by your music page and had a few listens. Really, really, nice stuff. Sounds like someone back at the oasis after an extended trip through the desert, if that makes any sense. Anyway keep doing what you love most, life is bloody short, as Tim C. would tell us if he could. And thanks so much for all the fantastic plugins.
