Wow... I'm really digging the character of those tape pianos. I'd love to know more about that sampling project. Did you record the samples to analog tape? Are there any photos? I'll definitely be using those pianos for something special!

And the drum loops are fantastic. I have tonnes of drum loops, but I consider yours to be among my favorites!

The recordings were made in 1998, using a Tascam 244 Portastudio and a Shure SM58 microphone. They were later sampled with a Yamaha A3000 sampler, then transferred via floppy disc to my laptop, for conversion to Sampler format. Sorry, I don't have any photos ...

FYI ... the Vigier Passion 1 bass guitar was recorded yesterday using a direct line into Live 8 via an NI Audio Kontrol 1.
